The Downs is glad to introduce a new qualification. The Diploma, a new qualification for Year 12's for only one year, the Diploma is a combination of existing qualifications and purpose-designed qualifications to make up a two year course. The Diploma is designed to support your next move – whether that's further study at school or college, work-related training, going on to university or a job with training.

The Diploma is being introduced across the country for students who are still not quite sure what they are going to do after they leave secondary school and all the big questions are hitting them like 'Should i stay on at school and do an A level?' or 'If i leave school now what will i do?' Well this course is designed for students just like you that are not quite sure what they are going to do.
