The Downs School Raise Money for Breast Cancer Charity
The Sixth Form Go Pink!

The Downs Sixth Form held a Pink Day on Tuesday 21st October. The pink theme was embraced wholeheartedly and the students looked fantastic. The students all paid £2 each and the money raised was donated to Breast Cancer Research. The prize for the Pinkest outfit went to Ben whose outfit included make up, a straw hat and pink dressing gown.

To raise awareness amongst the students the students also held a quiz which included a round about Breast Cancer and its prevention.
The Head of Sixth Form, Mr Andrew Hartley said,
Our students have really got involved with this day. They all dressed correctly because they all realise how important further research into this disease is. It was great to see such a corporate showing of good will and charity.![]()
