Year 7 Adventure Days
Our students' accounts:
Adventure dolphin was very fun but everyone got very wet!! We did all kinds of activities like orienteering, kayaking, Canoeing and team building. The day was a success and everyone enjoyed the experience.

Adventure Dolphin was great fun! The day was really exciting with a range of activities to enjoy, we did kayaking, canoeing, climbing and team building games. I think the day taught us all about working together as a team and applying what we already know.

On the on the 30th of September the y half of yr 7 went to the new Adventure Dolphin Pangbourne. Here is a summary of what happened that day.
We did canoeing, kayaking, orienteering and team building games. First I will talk about the canoeing. Canoeing is an outdoor activity when you sit in a huge open top boat in a group and paddle around. The canoeing was so fun but I did it last so I didn’t want to get too wet before I got out, some people had other ideas. One group sat on an underwater bench and another group of people got pushed in .It was hilarious and a bunch of fun and I hope to try it again.
Now I am going to talk about the kayaking. Kayaking is pretty much the same as canoeing but a closed top boat with a small paddle with two oars instead of one. In the kayaking we tried [unsuccessfully] to spin and splash and control the kayaks. Some of the pupils managed to take control easily but some couldn’t quite grasp it [me!]. All in all I think it was loads of fun and extremely wet.
Now I’m going to talk about orienteering. Orienteering is a sport where you run around and stamp a card. In it we ran a lot and slipped over a lot as well it was fun and it started to become a competition with the boys and girls.
Now I am going to talk about the team building courses we did. In the games we did loads of cool things using our mental and physical limits. I really enjoyed the games including marshmallow marsh and atomic race it was loads of fun and a great deal of hard work.
Over all it was loads of fun and a great experience and I felt I made a lot of friends.
