Danish Cultural Visit

Are YOU prepared for the challenges caused by the process of integration in Europe , globalization and international cooperation? Students from our partner school in Denmark are visiting The Downs from 29 March – 3 April. Would you like to host a student or take part in the event?

Horsens Statsskole has about 570 students in 21 classes. About 71 teachers (MAs and MScs) are employed to teach them.  The school is a state school owned by the county.

 

 

They offer students two- and three-year courses in preparation for a final exam which entitles them to apply for admission to a university or other colleges of further education. The school is called a "gymnasium", which is the equivalent of a Sixth Form College in England.
