Financial support for students
The support available to students is summarised on our Disadvantage Definitions and Benefits document.
Free School Meals
As well as receiving a free meal each day students become eligible for financial assistance with school trips and some school equipment. The school receives extra “Pupil Disadvantage Premium” funding from the government for students on Free School Meals, so please do apply if you are eligible, even if you choose not to take advantage of the benefits at school.
To apply for Free School Meals please see the information and link on our Catering page.
Students who are no longer eligible for Free School Meals, but who have received free meals within the past 6 years can still receive financial support for trips etc from the school because the school receives Pupil Disadvantage Premium funding for these students. Please see the Disadvantage Definitions and Benefits document above and do contact the school if you qualify for but are not receiving these benefits.
Low Income Families Too (LIFT)
If you are not eligible for Free School Meals and you wish to apply for the school’s own LIFT scheme please complete and return the application form attached below.
